At FromU2them, we intervene at the impact level and are focused on preventing hunger by supplying meal kits that will help sustain people staring starvation in the face all over Mumbai.
We provide donors with location-specific aid opportunities. This means donors can target areas they want to based on the data FromU2them and the BMC have access to. Also, our on-ground distribution collaboration with the BMC has ensured that we are able to access even the most affected and hard to reach areas in the city.
We offer recognition to our donors through our Food Aid program. Donors get to position their brands for increased visibility at food distribution points.
We have partnered with the International Association of Human Values for the supply and packaging of food. Our food is sourced from farmers cooperatives whose supply chain has been disrupted by the lockdown. All the food is quality checked, branded and packaged before distribution.
We have ensured each package contains plenty of essential food/cooking items (pulses, oil, rice, spices, and tea) to feed a family of 4 for 14 days.
